Bode Plot

Bode Plot

(OP)
Hello Group,

I am trying to set up a spread sheet to calculate and identify the process model by using a bode plot, but I havent find information on the calculation method, can anyone suggest references on the internet or code to do this? I am quiet far from the closest library (5 hour drive in northern Alberta)

Appreciate your comments, have a nice week

Bill

RE: Bode Plot

It shouldn'tbe difficult to write a simple program to plot
the BP. What is the desired input and its format?

Hello

Thanks for your answers, the inputs are the PV of the process which will be used to find a process model for tuning. In time domain it is only possible to find the model of the process once the process in in steady state. However with the bode plot the process parameters ca be found using a close loop response or in open loop using a double pulse which can be use when we need to do the test in a very short time.

I am trying to learn how to do just that, thanks again.
