Our shop is the only cwb certified shop in town. but we constantly quote against other shops on jobs that require some degree of safety. The dwg's themselves have weld sizes but do not specify CWB grade. I was wondering if a shop must be class 1,2,3 to work on these projects. Or only if it is specified by an engineer. When is it mandatory that a cwb shop must do the work. I have a feeling no one around here even relizes that a shop can be not certified.
