Multi Arc Sweep

Multi Arc Sweep

Multi Arc Sweep

(OP)
I have a swept surface and the main curve of the swept surface is composed of tangent arcs.  This means that the surface showed the coinicidental points that they attached together.  This created problems down the road with picking a offset surface, because it picked a section and not the whole face.  I went back and changed the main curve to splines, but is their a command to fix that without having to change the main curve of the swept surface?

RE: Multi Arc Sweep

It won't let you select multiple surfaces?

RE: Multi Arc Sweep

ctopher is on the right path, knit the surfaces before offsetting, make certain there are no gaps too.

Fill what's empty. Empty what's full. And scratch where it itches.

RE: Multi Arc Sweep

Pick the swept feature in the feature tree and it will automatically select the whole swept surface as a feature.

If you need only some of the faces of the swept feature, then you'll definitely need to select multiple faces.
