Is possible to choice what components do you want to be affected by the section cut in your drawing view?

RE: choice components in asm section view

Do you trust your intuition or go with the flow?

RE: choice components in asm section view

Hi,

Yes, you can.  After you place your section view, right click on view, and pick properties, then you will have a menu to change the section line spacing, angle and to exclude it.  You will have to click next to go through all the parts that have been sectioned.

I'm using WF2

Tofflemire: I know that option, but it just work in crosshatching of the pieces cut.

I want cut pieces and others not cut (I mean pieces afected by cut and not by crosshatching only)

RE: choice components in asm section view

Alexasa,

If you select "Excl Comp" in the MOD XHATCH menu, the part appears un-cut by the cross section.  This only works for a total cross section, not for an area cross section, and the menu selections described are for 2001, not Wildfire.
