how to define a non-uniform heat transfer (convection) ?

how to define a non-uniform heat transfer (convection) ?

(OP)
Hi, can anyone help me?

I want to perform a heat transfer analysis and I have to use ABAQUS/CAE for preprocessing. It is no problem to define a uniform heat transfer at a surface. But how can I define a non-uniform heat transfer (heat transfer coefficient and temperature depend on the x-coordinate of the model).

Is it necessary to define a FILM user subroutine? But how can I associate the defined (temperature) distribution with a specified surface? Does anyone know how the user subroutine has to look like?

Please help me... thank you..
