Fisher Porter Ftrans to Modbus

Fisher Porter Ftrans to Modbus

(OP)
We have remote Fisher Porter Controllers That are Linked to a Modicon Controller in a Control Room Through a Fisher Porter Supervisory P.C Using a Micro Link network. Remote Controllers Use F Trans To Commnicate to the Supervisory P.C. From There It is Modbus to The Modicon P.L.C. The Problem is the Orignal Modicon P.L.C. 984-A145 Commnicates Both ways Fine. When we took the Exact same Program and installed it in a Modicon 984-E285, the Controller only Commnicates From the P.C to the P.L.C. it will not communicate from the P.L.C. to the Supervisory P.C. We have tried every possible cable configuration with the same result. Both Controllers are set up for RTU even Parity, 1 stop, 9600 Baud, address 10, 01 Delay. On Port one of the Controller.Any time we install the A145 the system works fine. But with the E285 we cannot read from the P.L.C. We can navigate through the Supervisory P.C. Program but do not know what all Paramaters mean. Can anyone give a suggestion. Thanks Gene
