I am trying to calculate the pressure drop due to certain elements (constituting minor friction losses) such as tees and elbows being present in a pulsatile pump system.  I've researched the topic and can't seem to find any solutions.  I have experimental data, but I can't find any proven calculations to support my findings.

Does anyone know where I can find information on characterizing a pulsatile pump system?

ANY info would be greatly appreciated.

The characterization of the major/minor losses of any fluid system is easily done piecewise.  What this means is that for each tubing material used as well as each turn and valve within the system, they will have a specific minor loss coefficient which is to be simply added in to your equation.  Without knowing more about your system, all I can recommend is that you obtain these coefficients and use them within a Bernoulli or Mechanical Energy eqns.
