Help with mouse...

(OP)
I have just started with a trial edition (TE) of Pro/e; unfortunately PTC does not offer support for this version.

I am using a MS Trackball Explorer mouse (an upper and lower button at the thumb area... with wheel, a trackball on top and two buttons to the right of the trackball) and am having trouble getting any display dynamics working (i.e. rotation or pan).  The scroll wheel is controlling the zoom ok.  Any information from users with this mouse or someone with knowledge of a mouse interface for Pro/e would be appreciated.

TIA
Jim

RE: Help with mouse...

You would have to look at that device and reassign its function.  I will have to check my settings on my home computer where I run 2001.

I tried the "program-specific settings" with the latest ver. of Intellipoint (5.2) but no go.  I dug out a 3-button mouse I had from an old Indigo workstation and it ended up working fine.  Can't say I prefer it over my trackball but it does what it's suppose to do in Pro and that's what counts.

Thanks for the response Heckler.
