Edrawings printing problem

Edrawings printing problem

Has anyone noticed a problem with edrawings2005? We can print some .slddrw's but some come out as a pure black sheet using a lot of toner.

Just curious if anyone else had this problem and knows of a possible solution

RE: Edrawings printing problem

I have seen it. I think it is a driver problem. When it happens, close SolidWorks/eDrawings, re-open then try print.

Thanks Chris,

I am trying to duplicate the shops problem on our Engineering printers and cannot. I was also thinking it was a driver issue for their plotter as well!

RE: Edrawings printing problem

Try turning the shade off, I had the same problem with our plotter but it worked fine once I turned the shade off.

RE: Edrawings printing problem

Also check the dpi setting for the printer.  At an old job, when we tried to print edrawings, or shaded models, our printer had to be set to 600dpi, or it would print like you are stating.
