Edit Sub-Assembly Function

(OP)
Im working in SW '05 SP1.1

I've had this problem when im in a top level asm. i'll right click on a sub Assembly and "Edit Sub-Assembly" And while in that mode and after getting out of it. The Feature Tree locks up. Everything else is fine but that. So i have to save then close SW and reopen for this to fix.

Has anyone else seen this? Where could i report bugs like this? It happens everytime.

Adam

RE: Edit Sub-Assembly Function

You should install SP2.0 as it is the latest.

A standard questions asked here when people run into any bugs are: What Video Card & Driver?  What OS & SP? How much Memory?

You are the first I recall having this issue.

Report to your VAR

RE: Edit Sub-Assembly Function

Have you tried to run a repair from the install discs? or just a complete reinstall?

We were experiencing this also on SP1.1 installed on our old computers.  Since we got new ones, and new installs, this has not occured again.

RE: Edit Sub-Assembly Function

I have seen this and I have not found away to reproduce this, so my take on it is that the Video Card is running out of memory and the tree is the first thing to stop working. IF you can reproduce it, then provide the steps to your VAR along with an RX.
