Each time I click on toolbox tab, I keep getting 'no part preview.' I couldn't find files for any of the parts. Please what do I need to do to set toolbox up?

RE: SW Toolbox Setup

Yes. I have both add-ins checked.

RE: SW Toolbox Setup

You need to setup the link to locate toolbox. What version of SW do you have?

I have SW 2004. How do I setup link to locate toolbox? I have tweak areas of browser config., didn't see any change.

RE: SW Toolbox Setup

There is a Toolbox.ini file you need to edit, but there's a little more to it then just that.  Go to the support section at SW, and go into the installation guide section, look for the SolidWorks Toolbox in a Multi-User Environment section, they have it for both 2004 and 2005.  This is especially important if you have more than one user.

RE: SW Toolbox Setup

FYI - To point SW to a TB location (server or otherwise) all you have to do is change the toolbox.ini file (change the path) so SW knows where to look.

Please what does this message mean?

"Unable to  part file e:\program file\...\Countersunk elevator Bolt_AI.sldprt"

RE: SW Toolbox Setup

to edit where your toolbox parts are looking, go under Tools\options\data\edit standards, this may be what you're looking for.
