fresh water generator and corrosion

(OP)

When installing a fresh water generator of the evaporator type you would install also a hardening filter on the output line of the generator.

The line between generator and hardening filter must be in a corrosion resistant material e.g. CuproNickel or SS316 type stainless steel.

The water produced is with very low electrical conductivity and due to the boiling the amount of entrapped is also very low.

Can anyone clarify the coroosivity of the water before the hardening filter?
