Charging multiple low voltage batteries (via high tension?)
Charging multiple low voltage batteries (via high tension?)
(OP)
I would like to find out how to charge large numbers of low voltage batteries simultaneously ASAP without overloading any individual battery cell.
If I had, say, 160 AA 1.5v batteries using a 240V AC supply how would this be done without burning out individual batteries (my mind says 'series' but has a vision of the first battery being fried!) or waiting an age for recharging?
Sorry if this is a basic question.
Thanks in advance.
Timbeau.

RE: Charging multiple low voltage batteries (via high tension?)
i.e. have the same status of discharge and same history.
Replacing one single cell is problematic. It would be better solution to use lower VTG and DC-DC converter.
If you are speaking about initial charging of newly
manufactured cells it is OK -- else I suggest
at least separate regulators.
