Warning for SW2005 users with custom Gtol.sym

Warning for SW2005 users with custom Gtol.sym

Warning for SW2005 users with custom Gtol.sym

(OP)
If you are using a custom Gtol.sym file, make sure it has been copied into your SolidWorks loadpoint under lang/english before you try to load any drawings that reference your custom symbols.  In SW2005, if you try to load a drawing that references symbols that don't exist in the Gtol.sym file, SolidWorks will crash.  According to our VAR, this has been fixed in the upcoming SP03, but as long as your Gtol.sym file is up to date, you should not have an issue.

RE: Warning for SW2005 users with custom Gtol.sym

PDMAdmin,
Thanks for the warning. This will save a lot of work for many. A star for you.

Bradley
