DEVICE NAMING IN WIRING DIAGRAMS

DEVICE NAMING IN WIRING DIAGRAMS

DEVICE NAMING IN WIRING DIAGRAMS

(OP)
I'm going to built an industrial machine.
I've already found some rules for naming components.
Example: 102FU = fuse in path 102 of the wiring diagram.
But for some devices I didn't find anything. Is there a standard for this, or can I choose names as I like?
I still need names for:
Battery (Power Supply)
Battery-Connector
Charging-Contact
Power Amplifier
Selector Switch
Rocker Switch / Toggle Switch
DC/DC-Converter (Power Supply)
Brake
X-Y-Sensor
Transducer
Joystick
Hall-Sensor (Current-Sensor)
Gyroscope
Temperature Switch
E-STOP-Button
Radio-Device

RE: DEVICE NAMING IN WIRING DIAGRAMS

I suggest you check the standards from IEEE. The URl is www.ieee.org, they most probably will have them. Hope that will help you
