Hello
Iam chemical engineer working in fields with chemical company ,we have corrosion inhibitor(water soluble) used for treated The transportation oil line .
My qustion How to measure residual amine from the sample which taken from the last point of the pipe.
N.B
(The quantitiy of water always Trace)

There are commercially available online gascromatographs. Unfortunately you will experience an extremely variable composition of the carrier fluid, so I am not sure you can suppress the noise.
Moreover, the slug will probably blind the gaschromatograph in a very short time.
Probably the only way is to autosample and monitor offline, maybe with an automatic system, and cross check with lab every now and then.
