Compatablity of treatment package

(OP)
We are in the middle of converting a once through untreated river water cooling system to a closed loop treated system.  The system that is being proposed will use an atmospheric tank w/ an additive package NALCO 2837.  This is an anionic, molybdate-based chemical treatment.

One of our other plants has an enclosed cooling water system that uses GE Betz - Corrshield MD4100.  Per the MSDS the amin ingredients are Sodium Molybdate and Sodium Nitrite.

The temperature of the equipment being cooled reaches 300 Degrees C,  My question is are these two products equivalent?  If not will the product proposed by NALCO meet our needs?

We plan to use Demin Water for make up.
