Animator Video Compression Choice?

Animator Video Compression Choice?

Animator Video Compression Choice?

(OP)
For the Animator Add-on for SW2005 which is the best video compressor to use? They all probably have pros/cons but which do people use.

Cinepak Codec by Radius
Microsoft Video 1
Indeo Video 5.11
Full Frame (Uncompressed)

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

RE: Animator Video Compression Choice?

I have used the Cinepak Codec by Radius for all my animations. It seems to be the best quality IMO out of all the choices.

RE: Animator Video Compression Choice?

Sometimes... sometimes I use Windows Encoder, depends on the need. Camtasia gives me the benefit of Customizing my files to the extreme, where as Windows Encoder doesn't. With Camtasia I can add notes, graphics, cut selections out... just about anything I want to do is there and the compression of the AVI files are great too. FYI - SW uses Camtasia as well.
