PE and PP piping.

Can someone please help me by answering the following quick questions about PP and PE piping, or put me onto a good general website on plastic piping?.

I am presently putting together pipe specs for PP and PE piping, and have minimal (almost nil) experience in piping. Vendors tending to be not too helpful at this stage as we are still in the bidding phase of a job. (The typical response is go away and come back when you have the job).

Can someone give me an idea what pipe size range is available for PE and PP piping? Most information I find on the web is limited to about 100mm dia but I know both are available in larger sizes.

Can victaulic couplings be used to join plastic piping to metal piping?

Thanks all

RE: PE and PP piping.

Find a more helpful vendor, then reward him with the order so he can continue to help.

Try a google search.

Try giving us a hint about where in the world you are and we might be able to recommend a vendor.

I think a manufacturer called George Fischer is represented fairly widely world wide.

RE: PE and PP piping.

With a handle like turbokiwi you might want to contact this company in OZ. They extrude large dia. PE pipe and join by welding. The name of the company is PIHA and they are based in WA. I found them very helpful.
