Place to rent Impact Hammer

(OP)
Hi,

I have to test something next week and I called Modalshop for renting at short sledge impact hammer and they are out. Is there any other place that I can rent a 5lb impact hammer?

RE: Place to rent Impact Hammer

Have you got a suitable load cell? Just stick it to an appropriate hammer. We used to use a Thor panel beating hammer for whole vehicle excitation.

Cheers

Greg Locock

RE: Place to rent Impact Hammer

The Kistler rep in the Farmington Hills, MI area might have a loaner for you to "demo" to do your test (you then might be motivated to buy one from them if you need to have one in the future). The company is MEASUREMENT INSTRUMENTS. Let him know Mike Stone sent you.
