CATDUA Issue

CATDUA Issue

CATDUA Issue

(OP)
I've recently gotten an "invalid naming data" error. Searching through here I quickly found that my first solution may be to run CATDUA. After inputting all the data needed it is still telling me that certain fields are missing or incorrect. Being I have no more fields to fill, I don't believe it is the first one. I can't understand where I may have had an issue though. I listed my output file, my selected file, and the various preferences needed.

Any suggestions as to some random thing I may have missed.

RE: CATDUA Issue

We solved some of our "invalid naming data" with this trick :

Work with cache : open a New CATProduct, then insert a new component (your bad file). This will give you the CGR, turn it into design mode, you will get the "invalid naming data" message but you will have your file also. Then save your CATPart again. SOLVED.

So far it worked for all CATPart for us, the bad thing : it does not work with CATDrawings... :((
