model sectioning bug?

model sectioning bug?

model sectioning bug?

(OP)
I realiced that when working in an assembly, inside the assembly workbench, i can make a section of my whole assembly in the space analysis toolbar, in which I can do a vlume cut, so I just see the model behind or in frpont of the plane i decide, which is a excelent functionality. Then what i want to do is to work with this visualization, as i can go inside my assembly with all the parts I need. What happens is that the first time in session that i go to GSD workbench(for example) I can work within this section visualization, that is what i want, but when i get out of the workbench then my section visualization dissappears, becomes a full model visualization and I cannot get back to the sectioned view of my assembly until I restart Catia. What i just realized, is that it stays all the time when if i use freestyle workbench, isn't kind of weird??????

RE: model sectioning bug?

Sounds like a bug to me.  What release/service pack are you on?
Verify your scenario and submit it as a PMR.
