Looking for a Heat Recovery Ventilator

Looking for a Heat Recovery Ventilator

Looking for a Heat Recovery Ventilator

(OP)
I am looking for a manufacturer that can supply a heat recovery ventilator capable of 1000 cfm to 3000 cfm.  Other manufacturers that make these units are Venmar or Greenheck.  These units have enthalpy wheels in them and are sometimes place upstream of Air Handling Units.  If anyone can suggest a manufacturer other than Greenheck or Venmare that would be great.  Thanks.

RE: Looking for a Heat Recovery Ventilator

BryAir makes enthalpy wheels and they are good. You can also check Hoval for PHE type Heat Recovery Units.

Regards,

Hey MCMortley!

Can I ask why you want one? and why you're looking for other vendors?

I ask because... it seems I may need one too, to control excess moisture in the air, but I'm not a 100% sure, so just curious.

phreaq,

The reason I am looking for a heat recovery ventilator is because our firm is looking to rep this type of product.  Our competitors all have hrv's of this size.  We, however, don't have anything like this and we are having difficulties competing with this type of spec.

RE: Looking for a Heat Recovery Ventilator

ahhhhh, looking to see if there's a market, sweet.

do I get a discount as your new client? :D

RE: Looking for a Heat Recovery Ventilator

We are currently working on 3 projects were we are specifying BKM products (www.reverse-flow.com) They are upwards of 80% effective in heat recovery.

Good luck!
