Valeo HDFS hydraulic motor

Can someone tell me what's inside this motor?  It's a hydraulic engine cooling fan motor used on newer Chrysler products.  I see some images online where the external motor casting shape looks a bit odd to me.  I would like to know what type of motor is inside.

Thanks.

RE: Valeo HDFS hydraulic motor

Because of the port locations and automotive history, I would guess geroter, also know as lobe.

Thanks Ed.  I have a fan motor from a '92 Lexus that's a gerotor.  It has two ports located across the shaft centerline opposite each other clocked 180 degrees.

The Valeo motor appears to have three ports and they are not opposite across the shaft center, they are approximately 90 degrees apart.  Hence my question.
