Old Pump Manufaturer

Old Pump Manufaturer

(OP)
I am looking for someone who know a lot about old pumps and resources on them.

I have a United Iron Works Pump that I need curves for. It is a Double Volute cetrifugal pump. I cannot find a thing on United Iron works on the internet. I know that the pump is probably about 20 years old and the company may have been bought out serveral times.

My question is does anyone know who may have curves for this type of pump? or does anyone know of a resource that may carry old pump curves for outdated pumps?

RE: Old Pump Manufaturer

United Centrifugal Pumps, San Jose, CA.  They were bought out by Byron-Jackson, then Flowserve.  Check out Flowserve's website.

RE: Old Pump Manufaturer

If it is a old United pump, it actually split into two companies, one in the states, which piffer refers to, and a Canadian company once called United Pumps Canada but now called CPC Pumps.  One of united's chief designers, a guy named Fred Blumenrath, owns CPC.  Website is www.cpcpumps.com.
