(OP)
Hi

I trying to find out mechanical properties of nickel based alloys, and a material called REX448. Fracture toughness, Larson Millar parameter would be particularly useful.

Thanks in advance

Allan

RE: material properties

Try the Nickel Development Institute at www.nidi.org  I'm not sure they have what you are looking for specifically, but they can probably tell you where to find it.

RE: material properties

REX is a Carpenter trade mark for tool steels so you best bet is give them a try.

I have several tool bits in my shop with the name REX but no numbers.

RE: material properties

There are several companies across the world who have used the "REX" designation. In the UK the REX series were high temperature alloys used in power generation.
