Equations Causing VB Project Reset Messages

Equations Causing VB Project Reset Messages

(OP)
Recently I have started getting multiple popups stating:

“This action will reset your project, proceed anyway?”

when I am working with a part that has equations defined.  The popups appear one after the next as I select ok or cancel.  When I rebuild the part, I will get one popup for every equation that is defined.  When I am editing the equations, I will often get two or three popups per defined equation.

This is not part specific, and I am not intentionally running and scripts or macros at the time.  However this started last month when I was working on writing my first macro / program for SolidWorks.

Does anyone have any ideas about what is happening and how to make it stop?

Thank you,
Eric Endsley

I found the fix for this and thought I would share on the off chance that someone else runs into the same problem.

Start the Visual Basic editor by editing an existing macro or creating a new macro.  Then under: Tools -> Options, select the General tab, and clear the Notify Before State Loss checkbox.  This was with Microsoft Visual Basic 6.3.
