section configuration?

section configuration?

section configuration?

(OP)
hi all,

My mate is having problems with an assembly. He has built an assembly of parts and used the toolbox of sections to create the full model/structure. He has recently upgarde his pc ( new pc) but when he opens the assembly in the new pc all the sections get re-configured to the last used section!

Is there more to this than just saving the file as normal on his orginal computer?- i.e. is there a setting to lock the section used?

He has opened the drawing back up on his old pc and it opens fine!

thanks in advance,

Callum

RE: section configuration?

Why don't you copy your settings from the old computer to the new one, then you won't have anything to worry about.

Copy settings Wizard under the start\Programs\Solidworks\Solidworks tools
