Ok... I have a large-ish assy. I've been merrily insering parts to build it. Now I've taken a step back and decided that rather than having as many individual parts, I'd like to create a couple of sub-assys.

Is there a way to do this easily?.... (besides saving the whole assy as another name, deleting the parts I don't want, and then re-inserting into the top assy...which wouldn't that hard either)

RE: making a sub assy from parts

Highlight all the things you want to put into the subassy in the feature tree and right click.  Chose make a new subassy.  Easy
