just like in abaqus is there a partitioning technique available in NE Nastran?

RE: partition

Can you expand on partitioning technique.  Please explain further.

RE: partition

partioning is diving a solid model into simpler and smaller regions to facilitate meshing. I figured out its called slice solid in nastran..

RE: partition

I'm assuming that you are using FEMAP with NE:

Use the geometry > solid > slice match to section into parts, then mesh with linked surfaces.
