hey im lookin for some help

my lazerjet is broken so im using my dell 942 printer from home in the meanwhile.

my problem is that when ever i print my drawings on the dell the page comes out blank but if i import the file to adobe illustrator it prints fine.

if u can figure it out let me know

RE: cad 2k5 printers

First, does print preview show the print correct? If it does but is not printing what you see then try adding a new printer in the plot manager. Use a network plotter server if its on the network, else try a my computer setup and use a Hewlett Packard driver. Probably a deskjet (keep trying one till you find one you like). Good luck.

the print preview is blank and the printer is attached to the pc

RE: cad 2k5 printers

The print preview should show you what you will get. Try printing by extents first and look at the preview. If that doen't get it, then try other ways (window, display, ...). Experiment and report back.
