Ordinate dimensions

(OP)
All,
I have a sketch on a part where I dimensioned points with ordinate dimensions. I had to go back and add another point, but when I want to add the dimension to that point, I do not get the option. The help menu says:
To modify ordinate dimensions:

You can modify ordinate dimensions using commands on the shortcut menu. Right-click an ordinate dimension, select Display Options, then choose from these options:

Align Ordinate. Aligns all the dimensions along the ordinate with the 0.0 ordinate.

Add to Ordinate. Adds more dimensions later, along the same ordinate.

When I right click on any of the dimensions I do not get the option under "Display Options" to add anything. Any ideas??? I am running SW2004 SP3.0

Brad

RE: Ordinate dimensions

At the bottom of your right click menu you will probably see customize, click that and you will see the other options.  Sorry if I am incorrect but I am away from my SW computer right now and cannot verify that.

When I RMB I get "Display Options", but in its drop down I do not get the "Add ordinate dimension" option.

RE: Ordinate dimensions

RMB an ordinate dimension, select Customize Menu & make sure Add To Ordinate is selected, then click in the graphics area to close the RMB window. RMB the dimension again & the Add To Ordinate option should  be available.

RE: Ordinate dimensions

It's no longer under "Display Options". Just right click a dim and you should see it, if not hit customize.

When I RMB and select "Customize" there is no option to select "Add Ordinate". What I see under "Customize" is a list of options with check marks to the left of them. There is none that says "Add Ordinate". The one that say "Display Options" is checked, and has a black arrow pointing right like for a drop down, but when you hover over it no drop down appears. Am I missing something??

RE: Ordinate dimensions

On my system it is just like Gildashard states.  It resides directly ABOVE Display Options, not in the flyout.

RE: Ordinate dimensions

Sounds like you need to do a repair.
