SCROLL WHEEL

SCROLL WHEEL

SCROLL WHEEL

(OP)
I am having trouble finding a variable in CAD. when i have initiated a command such as move or copy etc, I need to turn on the varible that allows me to click the center scroll wheel on my mouse which in turn gives me a drop down menu of the object snap menu so i can choose say, mid or nearest snap etc...
I have done a search and found one variable that toggles between using the osnap and pan inside a command which is mbuttonpan, but the osnap drop down menu just doesnt seem to appear when i turn off the pan variable.
can anybody help me here, thanks.

RE: SCROLL WHEEL

You may be referring to RightClick customization I believe. Under options >> user preferences

No i have the right click customization done no problem, its the middle scroll wheel on the mouse. it can be used as a button aswell as for scrolling, when you press it as a button inside a command you can choose what dropdown menu you require, i need to know how to choose it to drop down the OSNAP menu when inside a command.its a varible inside CAD that needs to be changed.

lpseifert please read my original post, i know about the mbuttonpan variable, i am saying that is not the correct variable for what i am trying to recieve.

RE: SCROLL WHEEL

I think lpseifert was correct. I can get what you appear to want from the mbuttonpan variable. It get the pulldown from your menu file. Is your menu file correct?

RE: SCROLL WHEEL

Use shift right click to get the osnap menu.  I would suggest leaving the middle button as pan and zoom.  It is much easier and much more efficient to work with it this way.
