Hi
Does any one know the formula for calculating the lower explosive limit effect of temperature together with units involved.
I am doing this for a forced draft burner and need to know what the effect would be on start up after a trip with the elevated temperature

If the actual temperature dependancy is unknown the following formula can be used :
LEL (t°C) = LEL (20°C)x (1-0.0014(t-20))x 293/(273+t)
LEL in g/m3
T in °C
