CA GEOTECH EXAM
CA GEOTECH EXAM
(OP)
Hello,
I am planning to take CA geotech. exam next fall. Since I took a test last time (about seven years ago) they changed the format. There is no such thing as a "sample examination" anymore. However, without it, it is hard to get a "feel" for the test. They told me at the CA BOPELS that they used to have those for the geotech test before 1998.
May be, somebody still has those old sample tests? If so, can I get those?
Also, what kind of tips would people who recently took and passed the test can provide?
TIA,
V. Steve Gordin SE

Try:
http://www.regreview.com
They have practice workbooks and flashcards available. I believe there is also a short course at one of the engineering society meetings next fall in Las Vegas, Nevada. I'll try to find out which one.

That's the Association of Engineering Geologists meeting in Las Vegas.

There are also courses offered throughout the states by the Regreview team, on that website listed above.
Best of luck.
