Incinertation system

Incinertation system

(OP)
I would like from you to discuss on this subject so that we would have got an idea about the process of the incinerator

Starting from myself, the purpose of the incinerator is to burn the waste effluents from plants to meet the environmental regulations. Also, it comprises of waste gas/liquid incinerator and waste oil thermal oxidizer with associated equipment.

how is next to contribute in this unknown process

Guys
What happen, don't you want to share in this subject or it is not clear to you?

This system is not that complicated nor a novel, therefore there are some problems we would to share and contribute.

Chemical, Mechanical, Material, Electrical, Piping ..etc all you are invited in this hot area that not all people know much about.

Regards

RE: Incinertation system

As a start: Cheremisinoff's Handbook of Heat and Mass Transfer (Gulf) Volume 1, chapter 42, deals with Design practices in combustion and incineration, that may interest you.

The chapter was written by Nicholas P.Cheremisinoff, the book's editor (Exxon Chemical Co.), in conjunction with K. Banerjee and Paul N. Cheremisinoff of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the NJ Institute of Technology (Newark, NJ).

RE: Incinertation system

Brainstorming,
Not sure where you are based, but if in Europe, the hazardous waste incineration directive details allowable emissions.  It also gives information on required incineration conditions (Temperature, residence time etc.).  Any incinerator installed within the EC must comply with the requirements of this directive.

RE: Incinertation system

The word incinerator on any piece of equipment or part will bring  every regulatory agency in existence down on you.
Call it some thing else, heat recovery or thermal reduction unit, just anything except incinerator.

As stated by TrevorP there are very stringent requirements on emissions of any new stack on site.
