Hi everyone. This is my first post so I want to say hallo, and sak:

In ABB robot we have Flash Disk. The problem is that when you use it and overload (over 50%) disk is getting down very fast. New disk from ABB is quite expensive so I wonder if anyone tried to put there regular Flashdisk or HDD with made bootsector?

I have no direct experience with ABB Flash Disk, but in our experience with every other Flash Disk based storage, the generic devices work as well as the vendor labeled device.

Not all Flash Disks are equal.  some will not work in cameras, etc, and others will.  at the cost of the vendor labeled device, you can afford to experiment.
