Anyone know where I could find CAD drawing for a structural turnbuckle for 2 1/2" diameter rods?

RE: CAD drawing

Try a piping/pipe support supply company such as "GRINNELL", "B-LINE"  etc.
Good Luck.

RE: CAD drawing

LPPE,

I do not want to sound stupid, but why can't you draw one. They are not that hard to draw. Better yet, you can scan one and bring it into CAD as a JPG?

I have one but I am not in the office at this moment. If you still need it by Monday, e-mail me.

RE: CAD drawing

Don't know if it helps, but at www.mcmaster.com is one for 1 1/4" rod, which you could probably scale up 2x (???)

RE: CAD drawing

LPPE,

Go to this site: http://cadblocks.net/  select the construction details option on the left. It will give you cad block details of turnbuckels.

Enjoy.
