Solidworks to ProE

Solidworks to ProE

(OP)
A long time ago (2004?) i was able to save a Solidworks drawing in ProE form (.prt). I am now running SW2005 SP2, and the help screen still says that i have that option but it does not appear in the "Save As" menu.
Any ideas will be appreciated.

RE: Solidworks to ProE

Drawing or solid?  I can save a solid as .prt in "ProE" format.  SW 2005 SP1.1.

Drawing. i can save parts and assy's as ProE with no problem

RE: Solidworks to ProE

I beleive you can only with solids.
If you look at the "save as" formats between part, assy & dwg, you will see differences.
