Need Some Advice
(OP)
I have justa BSc in Computer Science and Electronics with Lower Second Class honours at the University of the West Indies, in January 2005. What are the names of some Universities that would accept me for with my current qualifications to do Masters degree (MSc) in a field that is electronics and communications oriented . What are some Masters programs i could be qualified to do base on my current qualifications.
This is a list of the course that i did:
Circuit Analysis, Digital Electronics, Microprocessors, Circuit Simulation, Discrete Device Electronics, Control and Instrumentation, Digital Signal Processing, Microcomputers and Control, Digital Communications, Calculus
Computer Programming, Discrete Mathematics, Information Structures, Computer Architecture, Software Engineering, Operating Systems, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Object Oriented Programming, Database Management Systems

Best suggestion I could make is to contact any university that holds interest to you and see how well you "fit" with their programs. Think more on the areas that interest you and see what the universities have to offer along those lines. Electronics and communications are still some pretty wide areas.

Masters degree program admissions are usually based almost entirely on your grade point average and the reputation of your undergraduate institution. Approximately what is your GPA? If I know that, I can probably give you some good schools to consider.
Good luck!

Definitely check out the Fulton School of Engineering at Arizona State University. They are an up and coming EE program, and are quite reasonable to get into right now. I think you would probably get in there with your GPA.
Here is a link to their webpage:

They have an MS program that includes a thesis, and an MSE program that is only coursework. They have programs in both comm and circuits. You can also complete your entire coursework online, if you want, in case you don't want to move out to Arizona. They have invested a lot of money in their online program and have modeled it after Stanford's program.
Another school you might want to consider is the University of Washington. They offer a pretty top notch EE program, which is MUCH easier to get into than say MIT or Stanford.

Hope that helps!

Sorry for putting you through this trouble rustin03.
Can you tell me any university courses that offer masters in my field of interest with my current GPA.

Also, you may be conditionally admitted to a school and on probation for a while if you have less than the required GPA when you apply. This allows them to make sure you can earn the grades required to continue in graduate school. Check with the departments of the colleges you're considering, and discuss your situation with their department heads or departmental graduate admissions coordinators. They'll be able to give you more guidance, since each department typically has the last word on who is admitted to their graduate program.
