Assembly model varients

Assembly model varients

Assembly model varients

(OP)
Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to have different versions of the same assembly.

I have a pneumatic cylinder, which has an open and closed position.

I would like to make sure that the extremes do not clash on any of my design.

I have created two constraints in the cylinder model and have to repeatidly go into the model to suppress and unsuppress the correct mates, which is become a little tedious.

Thanks

Ho

I take it as this is new in version 9, there is nothing like in in version 8.

Looks as if I will have to struggle on until we upgrade.

Thanks
