Need to protect SS with non-conductive paint

Need to protect SS with non-conductive paint

Need to protect SS with non-conductive paint

(OP)
Does anyone know where I can find a non-conductive paint to use on a stainless-steel sheet metal (1,5mm thickness)?
We're producing prototypes of a shield and the customer asked to cover this SS with a coating of non-conductive paint to prevent flow of current.
Sorry for my bad English
Ciao, Grazie

RE: Need to protect SS with non-conductive paint

Any special environmental restrictions? (chemicals, water, temperature)
How much dielectric strength do you need?

There are some very good epoxies out there.  That is where I would start.

Corrosion never sleeps, but it can be managed.

RE: Need to protect SS with non-conductive paint

You need to talk to your customer on how much non-conductivity he needs. What amount of voltage is he shielding. Aerial devices used by power companies per ANSI require 70,000 volt protection which is unattainable using paint.
