when sectioning a view that has surfaces in the part the sufaces do no cut away? is this possible.

Do you need a cut-away section of the view as a sketch entity?  Or do you only want to see what it looks like?

There is a sketch tool for converting the entities of items that pierce through your sketch plane called Intersection Curve.  Click that tool, then the items that come through your sketch plane, and it will make a sketch entity of the items that pierce your plane where they cross the plane.  Helpful for building up loft profiles, etc.
