Cost Estimate

(OP)
is there any EXCEL sheet to estimate the cost for rough grading and finished grading. Thanks.

RE: Cost Estimate

Probably plenty, though grading is perhaps only one task within more comprehensive sheets used to estimate an entire job or project.  How deep do you need to grade, what is the material, and of course length, width, all that... .

What is the extent of your need?
R.S. Means has printed and digital cost guides which can help.  Last I used were years ago, book form.  They run on the order of $100-$140, which can be quite a bargain, depending on your needs.

Also, some manufacturers, like Caterpillar, have extensive customer support services and all.  Try your local dealers.
The Caterpillar Performance Handbook will give plenty of data also, though not task-oriented like the Means books/CDs.

In terms of general cost software, a brief look on the web will uncover an overwhelming amount, some of which is good for dirt work.  Again, how often do you need the info?

Finally, colleagues and sometimes competitors can be a source of information.  What do earthwork contractors, engineering firms, inspectors, etc. use when they are faced with this question?

I hope this helps a bit.  Keep us posted on your success.
