3 cropping, section, and hiding questions
3 cropping, section, and hiding questions
(OP)
1. If you crop a view, is it possible to go back later and adjust the boundaries without starting over?
2. In a section view, can you show hidden edges of some features? It seems that you cannot select any features from the model tree when in a section view.
3. If you hide an edge by mistake, can you get it back (too late for undo)?
Thanks again

RE: 3 cropping, section, and hiding questions
RMB the view and select "crop view" pop out menu shows up and you can select "Edit Crop" or "remove crop"
2) Not as far as I know and think it's that away because it's a standard of not showing hidden lines in section view.
3) Yes RMB and click show - if it doesn't come back it maybe a bug, because there was one in SW04 and whether it was fixed since then I don't know for sure.

RE: 3 cropping, section, and hiding questions
For Question #2:
In 2005 you can expand your feature tree for the section drawing view and then RMB on the features in the tree to show or hide hidden edges for that view.
For Question #3:
If 2005 you can go to Tools- System Options - Drawings- "select hidden entities" This allows quick access to lines that you have hidden in the drawing view. Just hover over the area where you hid the line and it will indicate where the line is just as Theophilus had discussed.
Hope this helps!
