Refresh my memory: gas leak from cylinder?
Refresh my memory: gas leak from cylinder?
(OP)
Seems to me that recently there was a thread here that described the method for calculation of the rate of flow for a pressurized gas leaking from a cylinder (e.g., as the result of some sort of accident). A search of the forums by keyword didn't yield pertinent results that I could see. Not wanting to re-invent the wheel, does anyone recall such a thread/know of a handy reference for this situation? Thanks.

If you want the initial instantaneous flow, you will find the methodology at www.air-dispersion.com/source.html
If you want a more detailed, time-dependent methodology, you will find it at www.air-dispersion.com/feature2.html
