hello Sirs,

i would like to know the function of the follwing parts in microwave ferrite isolators:
ferrite
magnet
strip
coil, magnetic discs, pcb
im a newly hired materials engineer but unfortunately, i have no idea on the functions of these materials in rf.
thanks

RE: ferrite isolators

It would be extremely difficult to explain in words that have any meaning to you if you have to ask those questions about all these materials. It takes years to grasp the fundamentals of microwaves - and that does normally not include properties of materials. If you need this knowledge in your work, I think that you need to hire someone that has the knowledge.

I understand. I just wanted to have a start. I thought it would be right if i sought those informations. Thank you anyway.
