Power distribution on ships

(OP)
Have any of you tried looking at IEC60092 ?!!!
To what extent can you apply it 'as is'? What simplifications do you use :
- what do you do in ring feed situations ?
- do you systematically calculate MV and LV short circuit currents ?
- do you look at the evolution, the asymetric or the symetric short circuit currents ?
- do you calculate the contribution of motors to short circuit currents on the distribution board they are connected to, or to the entire network ?
- how do you check for protection against indirect contact (max cable lengths, earth fault protection, ...) ?
- do you use THAT formula for the calculation of the inductance of a cable !!!!
- are the CENELEC R0064-003 (European calculation guide) simplifications applicable ? If yes, to what extent ?

Thanks for any help on this issue !
