Toolbox settings copy

I know steps how to copy Sw settings from one computer to another, but seems that Toolbox needs different ones... Someone knows?!

RE: Toolbox settings copy

There are not that many settings in the TB browser so just do them manually. There is not Copy options for the TB and there is no Registry entry either.

Yes, but if I would like to copy all the changes I have made under Smart Fasteners?

RE: Toolbox settings copy

Or if I have added some custom properties under Browser > Custom properties?

RE: Toolbox settings copy

But there is no Copy options for TB or a registry entry that I'm aware of. So you maybe in the end having to change the options manually. Try calling your VAR.

OK, thanks anyway!

RE: Toolbox settings copy

I'm guessing you probably need to setup your toolbox to be shared on a network.  That is probably what you're really after.  It's generaly not a good idea to have each workstation setup with it's own toolbox.

RE: Toolbox settings copy

(OP)
Yes, OK, but I have done so (I have my own toolbox with parts in it...)... And now the problem is, that newly installed SW does not recognize parts I have made... (in previous installation I had default Toolbox setting Document settings > Copy part file > No copy.)

RE: Toolbox settings copy

Are you talking about parts you addedd through the "Add my parts wizard"?

If so, I believe you will have to manually put them back in. Even though they are in the DB of the TB SW doens't recognize them. You will have to step back through the add my parts wizard.

Otherwise i don't understand you statement because talk about parts you made and settings in TB inside of SW?
