Does anyone knows how to draw CAMS in Solidworks 2004?

Gentleman:

Does anyone knows of a good tutorial a WebLink or a PDF file that will allow me to learn how to draw CAMS in Solidworks 2004?

Does Solidworks 2004 have a tool that will facilitate drawing this type trajectories?

I will appreciate your help on this.

Thanks

Andy

Andy,

Several options come to mind: Do you have Toolbox in your 2004? Does it have the Cam options? You might try that. I was given a cam over 36" in diameter but it had multiple points on XY coordinates and I merely connected them using a spline. Not sure if this helps but I'm sure there are others out here that can take this a lot further is needed.

If you have tool box you are more than half way there, if you underestand Cams and how they operate you are just about all the way there.
